Energy Saving Tips

Sometimes when we shop around for appliances, we're confused which one to choose. We have to put in mind if this product has a good quality. Considering the current economy which the cost of energy is soaring up, it's smart idea to buy appliances such as clothes washer, refrigerator, dryer and other major appliances with a ENERGY STAR label on them. If they have that logo, it's guaranteed that the appliance has met the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Department of Energy standards to save energy.
  • ENERGY STAR clothes washers reduce energy and water use by 40% over conventional washers.
  • ENERGY STAR qualified dishwashers save 40% on energy cost and use much less water, saving on water heating costs.
  • ENERGY STAR qualified refrigerators use about 40% less energy than conventional units sold in 2001 and even more when compared with older models.
